Do I need a partner?

No, you do not need a partner. Our classes are designed so that you can learn without one, but if you can bring a partner along that would be great, for as far as we are concerned the more the merrier!!

What should I wear?

Wear something light and loose, it gets very hot!!  Most people wear jeans/casual trousers and T shirt

What footwear should I wear?

Wear shoes that are comfortable.  Avoid rubber soles as they stick to the floor.  As you improve and want dance shoes these can be bought at our classes.

How long will it take me to learn to salsa?

Everybody learns at a different rate but most people can dance basic routines after our 7 week course.

What is freestyle?

Freestyle is time to practice and enjoy yourself after class.

What is "La Rueda de Casino"?

This is a Cuban Dance which originated in the great halls of Havana, everyone dances together in a circle and it's great fun.
